An earthquake hit about an hour ago, and now I think one of my water lines broke. I know this is short notice, but are you guys able to come down here quickly? The water is a little bit up now, right here at the bottom, but the pipe came off. It’s a PVC line as a main line. We give two options to our customers. This is the third time that has happened. They prefer to go for a long-term solution.
We’re going to be trenching from that point all the way down into our water main. We’re going to be tunneling right under here and connecting a copper pipe, Type L, from the meter all the way down into the shut-off valve in there. You know, sometimes you have to prevent this problem before it happens again. So if you see that it has happened twice already, you should think about getting a long-term solution from there.
